Get your shit together

This has been an amazing night in the world of shared toilets.

At first I discovered this:

Having only my phone with me, I took a picture just in case someone were to clean it up by the time I got my camera. And the shitty (pun intended) quality calls for a caption: YES, that is shit on the floor in front of the toilet.

Then; when I got back from getting my camera:

Someone had already stepped in it! Oh, the exitement!

On closer inspection I realised the runaway poo had left a trail

How is it humanly possible to take a shit, aim at the toilet (grasping at straws here people, but we have to give the poor girl som credit, she DID at least aim into the toilet?!) And then manage to "lose" a small piece along the outside, that mind you, goes in UNDER the seat?
(It might not be entirely visible in the picture, but the marks almost at the top of the bowl is the trail)

I'm puzzled

Because ashtrays ...

This picture should of course have included the balcony door. Just to show that it is half a meter away. There is an ashtray on the balcony.

Just imagine...

... what he looked like - and smelled like - before entering the shower. When this is what it looked like when he was done. (I don't need to imagine, as I met him on my way out - him on is way in)

Havana

I don't actually remember taking this photo, but it must have been in Havana, St.Julians Malta. I was told that's where I spent Sunday night a week ago.

Shared toilet in Malta 2

It looks like my messy neighbours are gone for the summer, nothing to report from our common bathrooms, as of yet.
But fear not, I have been checking out the bathrooms in Malta.
This one is from the outdoors disco "numero uno".
Enjoy!

Shared toilets around the world

(I will soon publish a holiday-update. It contains Burger King in Malta, and I can promise a snack for not-so-sensitive souls.
I'll just have to find the time to sit down in an internet café, or get back home first.
Bye for now...)

A note

Denne er nå tatt ned. Kan ikke risikere at noen plutselig lærer å lese

This poster is now taken down. Can't run the risk of someone suddenly learning how to read.

Firstly

Let's start at the beginning, which is often a good plan. I could only afford an appartment with a shared shower and toilet. (There are actually still apartment buildings in Norway with common bathrooms in the hallway, I share my two showers and five toilets with 17 other apartments)

This blog is about sharing a laundry room, balcony and hallway with other people. But mostly it's about sharing a shower and toilet.

It's going to be a lot of this:
